Presentations
On this page you can find a free repository of powerpoint presentations and text files for use in supporting science against creationist opponents. The subjects in these slides were initially taken from a reading of Kent Hovind’s enormous 6,016 slide Powerpoint corpus. Yes, I actually read them all. I believe you can get most of them from this web page, though be warned that they’re huge files!
The first step should be downloading and reading the Overview files below, but then feel free to download any of the other files in any order. Each presentation comes with a text file accompanying it, detailing the main arguments in that particular subject as well as the actual relevant science. I have also provided hints and tips for most effectively getting the scientific message across in each case. The images used in all the presentations are public domain and can be reproduced without prohibition. The majority are from the Wikimedia foundation. See their terms of use here.
